Here are some computer-generated images of the fantastic new playground equipment which will be delivered in the autumn.  The work will begin after the school holidays and should finish before the October half-term if we get good weather.

• All of the equipment in the toddler area will be replaced
• The carpet in the toddler area will be replaced with a tall climbing frame and slide
• The new equipment from 2 years ago will remain but the medium climbing frame near the skate ramp will be relocated to the toddler area and enhanced.  The gap will be filled in with a springer
• There will be 4 slides altogether of different heights and difficulty
• The tarmac area by the skate ramp will be enhanced with road markings to create a scooter track. (Sadly we will not have upright traffic lights as shown in the images). 

On Friday 3^rd May 2024 NPC was made aware of the destruction of woodland and nature at the top of Pea Lane. Cllr Pringle, Dacorum Borough Cllr for Northchurch, contacted Officers at Dacorum to notify them of the damage and enforcement officers were due to visit today (Tuesday 7^th May) to ascertain the situation. We are aware that the work has been reported to the police as a wildlife crime and has also been reported to the Forestry Commission.
